U.S. led coalition forces have stepped up pressure on ISIS position in Syria and Iraq from all directions, denying access to resources and cutting off the life blood of their operation – money.
In response, the jihadi group has initiated a different, radical revenue-generating strategy to solve their cash flow squeeze – they’ve begun to harvest blood and organs from prisoners and from its own wounded militants.
The Arabic-language al-Sabah newspaper reported an unnamed source in Mosul who stated the militants would even kill its own wounded fighters in order to sell their organs on the black market.
The report noted, “Doctors were threatened to take out the body organs of wounded ISIL militant.”
ISIS is reported to have created a medical team that extracts organs under the direction of a German doctor. The group then sells the organs to raise necessary funds for the fighters salaries.
Due to heavy losses of territory in the southern part of Mosul, according to the Spanish daily El Mondo, Takfiri terrorists have increased their organ harvesting operations.
Prisoners who have been sentenced to death are having their executions delayed in order to harvest their blood as long as possible.
El Mondo stated that medical sources reported from one hospital where personnel describe corpses of at least 183 people whose organs had been removed from their bodies.
The Iraqi Ambassador to the United Nations, Mohamed Alhakim, described the procedure when they come upon mass graves. “When we discover mass graves, we look at the bodies. Some of those bodies are killed by bullets, some of them by knives. But when you find pieces of the back is missing and the kidneys is missing, you will wonder what it is.”
