The jihadi killer, one of the most feared terrorists in Syria, was turned into a human fireball by one shot from the marksman. The sniper fired from a range of 1,500m hitting the flame-thrower’s fuel tank.
The high-velocity tracer round made it explode in an instant. The SAS marksman fired the single round from his Barrett .50 calibre sniper rifle at the terrorist, who was about to use a flame thrower to kill 12. The shot caused a huge fireball, also killing three other ISIS members who were ready to film the execution.
The attack took place early last month in a small village close to the town of Raqqa in northern Syria.
A US and British special forces team had been targeting “high-value” Isis targets for weeks before a Syrian CIA agent tipped them off about the murderer’s whereabouts.
The terrorist, who delighted in burning prisoners to death, had been on a British and US special forces “kill list” for months.
According to the Daily Star:
A source told us: “The SAS team moved into an overwatch position above a village where they were told the execution was going to take place.
“Up to 12 civilians were going to be murdered – eight men and four women. They were suspected of being spies.
“None of them were agents. The Isis killers knew that but just wanted to instil fear into the local population.
“The executioner gave some sort of rambling speech over a loud hailer then when he finished the SAS sniper opened fire.
